Glapthorn CE Lower School is situated less than 2 miles from Oundle and offers the very best start to your child’s schooling.  Our intake for each year group is 15 children.  For their first year of school (Reception) the children are in a class of 15 with a teacher and full time teaching assistant.  They are in a self contained part of school with their own toilets and outdoor play area.  All of the children in the school play together and take lunch together.  They also share in many whole school trips and have reading buddies which develops a caring attitude throughout the school.

Children are able to join school during the year in Reception to Year 4.  If you have just moved to the area then please contact us when you are thinking about your new school.  We encourage all our visitors to look around all of the nearby schools so that you are well informed when making this important decision.
